YouTube star Megamillioncomix is under fire by fans after revealing his disapproval of U.S. Agent's costume, after BTS photos revealed a first look at the Anti-hero in live action for Marvel's "Falcon and The Winter Soldier" airing on Disney+ in August. The photos gave fans a first look at Captain America's new government replacement, donning a new version of the Captain America suit for the series. While aspects and details of the suit are fairly comic accurate, the colors of the suit are nothing in comparison to the anti-hero's comic counterpart, and Megamillioncomix is one of many fans who expressed his disliking of the character's appearance.
The star took to Facebook with a post, sharing one of the photo's side by side with the comic version of the character. "not impressed with this look @marvelstudios" the star stated.
While some fans agreed on the lack of accuracy, others where enraged by the star's disapproval of Agent's costume.
"You should definitely overreact about a picture with no context from a show that's 8 months away from premiering" one fan said.
"Wow ur such a little bitch boy if that's something your're really gonna complain over" another brutally stated.
"US Agent wasn't initially US Agent. He was the "New Cap". How you going to roast without knowing the history???" another replied.
Fans were furious that the star threw shots at Marvel, and fired back in attempt to defend US Agent's non comic accurate look. To be honest, We at We Got This Covered found the look a bit grotesque as well, as it seems Marvel just attempted to make him another version of Captain America, which as Megamillioncomix states, is not what he is in the comics, as he is the evil version of the Captain, later revealed to be a member of Hydra. So we stand with Megamillioncomix in saying that Marvel could have gone with a bit more black in Agents outfit. It's our opinion that this is only a temporary look for the character, and a more comic accurate look will be revealed later. Much like Marvel's Daredevil series, which saw the blind ninja wear a black cloth and gimp suit for the majority of the first season, before upgrading to the comic accurate Red outfit we all know and love. Here's hoping that Marvel has the same idea for US Agent going forward.
the "Falcon and Winter Soldier" is set to premiere in August on the Disney+ streaming service. The series stars Anthony Mackie as Falcon and Sebastian Stan as The Winter Solider.
